20-Year Old Arrested in Connection with Convenience Store Robbery

Police officers arrested a 20-year old man Thursday in connection with the Jan. 2 knife-point robbery of a convenience store in the 7200 block of Rodd Field Road.

Jeremy Ybarra, 20, was picked up on just before noon an arrest warrant at his home in the 7100 block of Southhaven Drive. After gathering evidence from the convenience store robbery, police say they were able to determine that Ybarra was the one responsible.

Ybarra has been booked into the City Detention Center and charged with aggravated robbery.
