We found a Boston Terrier mix sitting inside a SUV at Parkdale Plaza. It was 88 degrees outside and the windows on the Ford Explorer were barely cracked open.

Because the dog was panting heavily and there was no water inside, we decided to call police for help. They arrived and called for Pop-a-Lock to open the vehicle. They did just that and then a police officer quickly got the dog out of the heat. He seemed to be fine and eventually animal care services showed up to take control of the canine.

They will try and locate the owner and find out why the dog was lleft in the enclosed car.

Natural Gas

Should the city of Corpus Christi privatize its natural gas system or keep it under city ownership?

  • Yes. Sell it and let private business run it.
  • No. Keep it as a city department.
  • I don't know.
