A creative attempt at drug smuggling was uncovered in Duval County.  A truck was pulled over just outside of Freer on North Highway 16 Friday Afternoon.  Inside, authorities discovered just over 45 hundred pounds of marijuana. The truck was made to look as if it belonged to the Texas Department of Transportation, all to fool law enforcement. Officials say the driver and the truck had no affiliation with TXDOT.  The driver is in custody.
