New developments in the murder of a Corpus Christi woman shot to death at a relative's home in Houston last year.  On Thursday, a jury sentenced the suspect in the case, Charles Bryant to life in prison.  It was June of 2008 when Bryant turned himself into authorities.  Police say he shot 25 year old Danielle Vargas twice in the head.  Vargas had moved to Houston reportedly to get away from Bryant.  Police say Bryant hid under his ex girlfriend's bed until she returned from work.  3 News spoke with with the victim's mother, who says justice has been served.  Vilma Garcia said, "I felt relief that it was all over.  They gave him what he deserved."  Bryant must serve half of his prison term before he can be eligible for parole.
