Police officers were back on the scene Sunday morning, recreating the accident that left two pedestrians in serious condition after they were struck by an alleged drunk driver. The accident happened at Staples and Lipes around midnight Friday morning.
Police were mapping out where the accident happened. Two men in their twenties were pushing a stalled car with a woman inside steering.
The two men are listed in serious condition with injuries to their legs.
The woman inside the car suffered minor injuries. Investigators say 29 year old Adrian Garza, sped by striking both men and the car.
Garza then jumped out of the car and started to run, but police were already in the area and chased him down.
Police say, Garza is being charged with intoxication assault.
