Aransas Pass Wins First Playoff Game in 11 Years

CUERO, TX (Kiii Sports) - Aransas Pass swapped touchdowns with Luling for most of their opening-round playoff game in Cuero on Thursday night, before scoring the decisive TD with just over a minute left to beat the Eagles 43-40.

The game opened with a bang as both teams scored on their first two possessions. Luling added two more scores to take a 28-14 lead. AP came back to tie the game in the 3rd quarter, and the scoring battle was on.

The Panthers will play state-ranked Cameron Yoe next week at a site that is yet to be determined.
