Area Students in Tennessee to Compete in Destination Imagination Global Finals

Students from Corpus Christi, Calallen and Ricardo are in Tennessee this morning. They are in Knoxville to take part in a unique imaginative and creative thinking competition.

"It's a really good atmosphere because everyone has earned their way to be there," said John Henry Stearns, a Baker Middle School Student. "So, you know that the people that are there want to be there and they are trying their best."

"It's really they give us a challenge and we try to make a skit out of it," said Debra Flores, Ricard ISD Fourth Grader.

The students left yesterday for the Destination Imagination Global Finals which is a creative thinking competition. The event begins tomorrow and runs through Saturday. 20,000 students are expected to participate.
