Global Spectrum to host Summer Job Fair at The Richard M. Borchard
Regional Fairgrounds
Robstown, Texas - Global Spectrum, operators of the
Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds, will host a summer job fair on Thursday, April 24, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Fairgrounds, 1213
Terry Shamsie Blvd. The job fair will be held in Ballroom A.
"With the inaugural season for the Corpus Christi Beach Dawgs right
around the corner, we're focusing on beefing up our concessions and
catering staffing," said Kelvin Moore, Global Spectrum's general manager for the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds. "With 36 home games at the Fairgrounds Field and a full summer lineup in the other Fairgrounds venues, including mixed martial arts, boxing, arena football, concerts, banquets, consumer shows and equestrian events, we are looking to add 20 - 30 good natured, and customer service focused people to our team."
Although the focus will be on food and beverage employees, there are
plenty of other part time positions available, including box office
supervisor, ticket sellers, ticket takers, ushers, security guards,
guest services, receptionists, facility workers, general maintenance,
housekeeping, souse-chefs, cooks, banquet servers, and many more.
Moore added, "This is a great opportunity for a fun job in an exciting
environment. We have a great line-up to kick-off the summer, with Katana
Cage Fighting, Hammerheads football, Beach Dawgs baseball, and the
"Rumble in Robstown" professional boxing ... and that is just in May."

The Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds sits on a 500-acre site at
the corner of U.S. Highway 77 and Texas 44 in the heart of Nueces
County. The complex includes a 33,000 square-foot Conference Center,
featuring a 20,000 square-foot ballroom with meeting space.
The Central Pavilion features a 2,000 seat arena (3,300 for concerts), and is home of the Corpus Christi Hammerheads arena football team, of the Intense Football League. Connecting to the Central Pavilion Arena are two, 50,000 square-foot exhibit halls.
The exhibit halls host various trade show events such as home & garden shows, boat shows, hunting & fishing shows, gun shows and gift shows. Fairgrounds Field is home to the Corpus Christi Beach Dawgs professional baseball team and can seat 4,200.
