ROBSTOWN--Robstown Police said some burglars went to extreme measures to get what they were after in a burglary. Part of this crime, however, was caught on tape. Now investigators are asking for the public's help to find the criminals.

Police said the criminals got away with several items from a trucking sales company on Highway 77. It looks like the thieves knew their surroundings as they committed the crime.

Robstown Police showed us this video from a surveillance camera at Pavelka Truck and Trailers Sales on the southside of Robstown. It showed one suspect crawling like a soldier to avoid the camera. Investigators said he concealed his face to hide his identity.

"On the surveillance, we're able to tell they're wearing gloves or socks on their hands and their covering their face with some kind of cloth," said Sgt. Enrique Paredes of the Robstown Police Department.

Police said they broke in by cutting this fence, then shutting off the power to the building to disarm the alarm. Later, they cut a hole in this aluminium building to get inside.

"They took two computers," Sgt. Paredes said. "They took a welding machine and a 50 foot copper lead and small Ford Ranger."

Soon after getting caught on tape, the suspect removed the camera. Police believe two suspects were involved with this crime and they think they knew the layout of the business.

"I'm not thinking it's an inside job, but somebody that might have had access to the building at one point," said Sgt. Paredes. "Might have come here to shop."

If you know who was involved with this crime, you can call Crimestoppers at 888-TIPS.
