ALICE--In Jim Wells County, two men are in custody and law officers are searching for a third suspect in connection with a convenience store robbery from last week.

"The one I have in custody they were just looking for money," said Sgt. Johnny Perez of the Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department. "He didn't say for what and they just needed money"

Investigators said 23-year-old Christopher Parra of Alice was one of the gunmen involved in the robbery and of the Economy Mart in the Alice area. They added Toby Lee Perez, 23, of Alice was the getaway driver in the crime.

They're also looking for another man described as a gunman. 18-year-old Jonathan Cerda, who pointed the gun at the cashier during the robbery last Wednesday night

"The store video has audio on it as well," Sgt. Perez said talking about Cerda. "I identified the one suspect at the register. We had verbal identifications."

Cerda, an Alice resident, is believed to be either in the Corpus Christi or Aransas Pass area.

If you know his whereabouts, you should call the Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department at 668-0341.
