Beeville Coca-Cola Building Sustains Fire Damage Over Weekend

A well-known building in Beeville was damaged over the weekend. The former home to the Coca-Cola Bottling Company sustained a significant amount of damage in a fire.

The building survived numerous hurricanes and other severe weather since it was built in 1940. The exact cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

In addition to Coca-Cola, the company also produced its own unique beverages, including cream soda, grape and orange soda, all bottled under the trade name of Gill's. The company closed back in 1985.
