Being a Part of the "Working Poor" in the South Texas

To be included in the "working poor" category, the U.S. government says you have to have been employed for at least 27 weeks out of the year but still earn less than the official poverty level.

On Thursday, Kiii News Reporter Michael Gibson spoke with one man who falls under that category. He has a family of six and earns well under the $32,000 poverty threshold set by the government.
