Benefit Held to Get a Sugar Dog for Little Girl with Rare Disease

A benefit to help raise money in hopes of being able to purchase a "sugar dog" for one little girl with a rare disease.  This was the scene today at the benefit for little Madison Sanchez.
Family, friends and even strangers got together today despite the rainy weather to raise money.  We first told you about Madison Sanchez who has a rare genetic disease called glycogen storage disease or GSD and is caused by the types of mutations in her DNA.
Madison is one of four people in the entire world with this particular mutation. madison and her family have been trying to save money but recently had to start traveling all the way to Dallas for treatments.  The Sanchez family says they're doing everything they can, but could use help from the community.  In case you weren't able to make it out today, you can still donate to the Sanchez family.
You can call Madison's mom, Amanda Sanchez at 361-904-5673.
