Bond Conditions Set for Man Accused in Friday Night Hit and Run

A 27-year old man accused of running over a person and then driving away from the scene went before the 319th District Court judge Wednesday morning.

Jose Muniz's bond conditions were set, but he still remains in custody. Investigators say that the car Muniz was driving struck a man on Port and Baldwin Friday night before speeding away.

As a part of his bond conditions, Muniz must surrender his driver's license, be monitored by GPS and stay away from places that sell alcohol.
