Border Patrol Agents Make Big Meth Bust at Falfurrias Checkpoint

U.S. Border Patrol agents made a million dollar bust this week at the Falfurrias checkpoint after more than 37 pounds of crystal meth were found inside the false compartment of a pickup truck.

A drug dog alerted agents to take a closer look at the pickup truck, and after further investigation, agents found 15 bundles of methamphetamine, worth more than $1.2 million.

The unidentified driver and the drugs were turned over to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
