Brooks County Man Charged with Murder Being Tracked by GPS

Brooks County officials say they are keeping track of a man who is charged with murdering his estranged wife by beating her with a dumbbell and strangling her.

The Brooks County District Attorney's Office said they are keeping close tabs on Eusebio Chevo via GPS monitoring.

Earlier in the week, the victim's family said they were upset that he had been released on bond, but on Friday, the DA's office assured us that Chevo is not allowed to leave the county, and is under strict curfew. His murder trial is set for January.
