Cancer Survivor Heals with the Help of Alpacas

Known for their fleece, alpacas are the friendly and calm cousins of the llama.  For one woman, they also helped her heal after her battle with cancer.  3 News Anchor Jane Monreal visited with Lyn Christoph at the Gulf Breeze Alpaca Ranch with this special report.

Christoph says that alpacas are a good livestock for women because they are low maintenance and can be raised on less land needed for other livestock.

Gulf Breeze Alpaca Ranch offers other services involving alpacas including boarding, shearing, and mentoring.  School tours can be arranged for small groups.  Knitting and spinning classes are also available.
