Carroll High School Faculty, Staff Take Ice Bucket Challenge

Carroll High School faculty and staff stepped outside Friday to accept the ever growing Ice Bucket Challenge.

One by one, dozens of Carroll Tigers were doused in ice cold water. Of course, they were accepting the Ice Bucket Challenge benefiting ALS research. Carroll High School counselor Laura Benavides' sister died from ALS in 2010, so on Friday afternoon she held a sign saying "Doing it for Deb."

Benavides walks in honor of her sister every year at the Walk to Defeat ALS event. It's being held Saturday, Nov. 1 at Whataburger Field.
