CCPD Officers Get Training on Brand New Motorcycles

It was back to basics on Thursday as officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department's motorcycle division got trained on some brand new motorcycles.

"It's definitely a learning experience," Officer Kevin Quesada said. "I learned a lot more in the past two weeks than I've known in the past 10 plus years of riding motorcycle."

The new bikes are called Victory Commander Motorcycles. The CCPD just purchased six of them, with another four on the way.

On Thursday, officers learned how to maneuver their new rides in the parking lot of Whataburger Field. The officers have one more day of training on Friday.
