CCPD SWAT Team Raids Suspected Drug Dealers Home

Corpus Christi Police Department SWAT teams had to take a more tactical approach when converging on a suspected drug dealers home in the 1500 block of Sixth 6th Street at around 7 a.m. Friday. They knew there were children living inside the home.

"We had information in regard to children in the house, so we were extremely careful on the use of our flash bangs and how we made entry," said Captain Dave Cook of the CCPD's Narcotics and Vice Investigations Division.

Once inside, officers discovered heroin and marijuana. One man, 21-year old Daniel Pulido, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
