CCPD Wants to Hire More Women

Roughly two years ago, Troy Riggs stepped into the role of Corpus Christi Chief of Police. One of the first things he noticed were the lack of women on the force.

The Department of Justice has officially filed a complaint against the department.

Former Chief, now Assistant City Manager, Riggs explained why the city will most likely pay $700,000 to settle the complaint.
