The Shrine Circus is in town at the American Bank Center with loads of family fun and circus animals.
Sarah Acosta was live for 3News First Edition with Cindy the elephant, one of the stars of the Shrine Circus show.
Cindy is 38 years old and full of personality. She is an Asian Elephant from Bangkok Thailand and weighs 8,000 pounds.
On an average day the animal trainers go through four bails of hay and one hundred pounds of fruits and vegetables.
There are several more attractions like acrobats, a human canon ball, and more animals like lions and camels.
The Shrine Circus benefits the charity organization Al Amin Shriners which helps children at the 27 Shriner Hospitals all over the country.
You can see the shows this weekend at the American Bank Center Arena starting Friday at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Make sure to arrive one hour early for the pre-show to enjoy elephant, pony and camel rides and meet the characters in the show.
