CITGO Refinery Donates $10,000 to Timon's Ministries

Timon's Ministries in Flour Bluff focuses on improving the quality of life for the struggling and less fortunate, and on Thursday, CITGO Refinery donated a $10,000 check to the nonprofit.

The money will help Timon's Ministries continue their efforts of help those who do not have a home.

"Money makes the world go round, and nothing works without it, and it's real important that we have funding," said Joshua White, who gets help from Timon's Ministries. "I know that a lot of times, they operate this place on a nickel, dime, prayer."

Timon's Ministries also helps feed the working poor, families who cannot make ends meet.
