City Begins Emergency Repairs to Combat North Beach Erosion

The City of Corpus Christi is in a race against time as they work to stop a massive beach erosion problem on North Beach.

Just over a month ago, the U.S.S. Lexington's Fourth of July fireworks were nearly canceled after a lack of sand ruptured the water main that feeds the museum's fire lines. That erosion also caused a nearby section of beach walk to collapse.

Kiii News Reporter Brian Burns went Live from North Beach to tell us about the emergency repairs that City began on Monday.
