City Manager Announces Four Appointments, Including New City Attorney

Four staffing appointments to key positions in the City of Corpus Christi, including a new city attorney, were announced Tuesday by City Manager Ron Olson.

Miles Risley of Wichita Falls, Texas, has been appointed to take over the job of city attorney, a position that is currently held by Interim City Attorney Barney Knight of Austin. The position was left vacant after attorney Roxann Cotroneo withdrew her acceptance of the job offer earlier this year.

Other city appointments include Alyssa Michelle Barrera, Business Liaison; Belinda Mercado, Deputy Director of Municipal Information Systems; and Carlos Gonzalez, Director of Facilities.
