City's Code Enforcement Department Now Fully Staffed

The City has finally gotten the reinforcements it needs to help crack down on people with overgrown lawns, trash piled up and other code violations. The City's Code Enforcement Department is now fully staffed.

Code Enforcement averages about 13,000 calls per year. In July, there were more than 800 calls, which was up quite a bit over June, when 600 complaints were called in.

Code Enforcement also wanted to remind people that they can post complaints to the Corpus Christi Code Enforcement Facebook page.

Kiii News Reporter Michael Gibson came back with more details.
