Corpus Christi Tennis Association Gives Nine Scholarships To Area Students

The Corpus Christi Tennis Association awarded nine high school senior tennis players with scholarships this morning.

This is the first year the CCTA has been able to give out so many scholarships, in previous years the non-profit gave out three to four scholarships.

There were a variety of schools represented from West Oso High School to Carroll High School.

The scholarships are for $1,000 and students can use the money toward their tuition or books.

The CCTA raises the money through several tournaments held in Corpus Christi and fund raising events.
