Council Members Approve Final Reading of Mary Rhodes Pipeline

At Corpus Christi City Hall, council members approved a second and final reading for phase two of the Mary Rhodes Pipeline. The pipeline will stretch from Bay City on the Colorado River, to the pumping station at Lake Texana. Lake Texana is one of two main water sources for the city. Construction is set to begin within 30 days. City leaders hope to have the pipeline operating by June of 2015. The total cost is an estimated $160 million.
