Couple Has Been Breeding Camels in Beeville for 10 Years

Just a day after "hump day," our 3News cameras found something you don't see in South Texas everyday -- camels!

Six camels could be seen from Cook Road in Beeville Thursday. Kiii News Reporter Mike DaSilva even petted one of them, named Lucy.

It turns out, the couple that owns them have been breeding camels for about 10 years. They are the same couple that owned what used to be known as Wayne's World Safari Zoo in Mathis.
