Court of Criminal Appeals Hears Arguments in Hannah Overton Case

The court of criminal appeals in Austin heard arguments from Hannah Overton's legal team and state prosecutors Wednesday to decide whether she should stay in prison or be granted a new trial.

Overton was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison for the death of her four-year old foster child, Andrew Burd.

All arguments were heard on Wednesday, and no official date has been set for the court to make a decision.
