CPS Takes Custody of Child Whose Infant Sibling was Killed

An Aransas County judge determined Friday who will take custody of an 18-month old boy after his 11-week old sister was allegedly killed by their father.

The state decided that Child Protective Services will take custody from 20-year old Ashley Rothlisberger. It was last week when Rothlisberger's husband, Michael Garcia, allegedly killed their daughter.

Rothlisberger must complete parenting classes for a year. A judge will determine if she will be able to regain custody at a later date.
