Crews Battle Morning Fire in Flour Bluff

The Corpus Christi Fire Department was called to a house fire near the intersection of Jamaica and Hialeah in Flour Bluff. The blaze broke out just before 9:00 AM Wednesday morning.

It took crews about 45 minutes to control the flames and put them out. Neighbors say is sounded like an explosion. Some we spoke with say they heard a loud bang and ran outside to see black smoke coming from the home.

Fire crews are still on the scene, we will bring you more information as it becomes available.
