Crime Stoppers: New Years Day Hit and Run Accident

Police need your help solving the first hit and run accident of the year. On New Year's Day, celebrations were interrupted at 1:18 a.m. by an accident at the 1500 block of Baldwin Boulevard.

A 23-year old woman was crossing Baldwin at the intersection of Fig Street, when a blue Cadillac traveling west on Baldwin struck her. The Cadillac then left toward the Crosstown Expressway without stopping to help the woman. The woman was left with serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Corpus Christi Police Department crash investigators have located the Cadillac, but need more information to identify the driver.
