Crime Stoppers Release PSA on Portland Shooting Investigation

It has been over four months since two teenage girls were shot at a Portland park, leaving one dead and one badly wounded.

Now, Portland police are turning to the Tri-County Crime Stoppers program to help solve the homicide. They just released a Crime Stoppers public service announcement, in hopes that it will generate some leads.

It was back in June when 19-year old Mollie Olgin was fatally shot. Her girlfriend, 18-year old Kristene Chapa was shot in the head and survived. She is still recovering from her injuries.

Chapa provided investigators with a description of the suspect. If you have information on this case, your tip could earn you a reward up to $20,000.
