Crime Stoppers: Thanksgiving Auto Burglary

The Corpus Christi Police Auto Theft Task Force wants your help to catch an auto burglar who struck a pipeline company over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2012.

It was Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, a man jumped the fence to a business on the 1600 block of North Lexington Boulevard in Corpus Christi. The man broke a vehicle window and took the contents from inside a truck.

The man broke into a toolbox on a trailer to steal tools, and then took the time over several hours to remove the transmission and other auto parts from a truck. In all, the thief took about $20,600 worth of property from the business.
