Crime Stoppers: Thieves Hit Zachary Kolda Construction Site

The Corpus Christi Police Department want your help tracking down some suspected thieves.

After Memorial Day weekend, workers returned to the construction site of the Zachary Kolda Elementary School on Roddfield to discover the locks were cut to the gate of the site. They then discovered that tools were missing from a large steel storage box kept in one of the classrooms.

Copper wire and 1,000 feet of welding lead was stolen from a classroom used to store the material. In all, about $13,500 worth of property was stolen from the construction site from the hard workers trying to build a school for the community.
