CCPD arrest suspect in connection with Dolphin's Landing shooting

Corpus Christi police have found and arrested 21-year-old Willie Greenwood, a man wanted for murder in connection with a shooting last week at the Dolphin's Landing Apartments.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Corpus Christi police have found and arrested 21-year-old Willie Greenwood, a man wanted for murder in connection with a shooting last week at the Dolphin's Landing Apartments.

Police said Greenwood was involved in an incident Wednesday, Jan. 24, in the 6400 block of Weber Road. Officers were en route to that location and were redirected to the 6600 block of Everhart where they found a 20-year-old female with an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim, identified as 20-year-old Alekzandra Rangel, was taken to Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital where she eventually succumbed to her injuries.
