Crime Stoppers: Cold-Case Murder from 1984

The Corpus Christi Police Department is looking to the public to help them solve a cold-case murder that happened in 1984.

Sylvestre Paiz was a 47-year old overnight attendant at the Gulf service station at Kostoryz and SPID. On the night of July 30, 1984, Paiz was kidnapped from the service station and was later found shot dead on Highway 59, four miles east of George West. The killers were not caught.

This cold case heated up when the family received a letter in the mail that listed three names as the killers. CCPD detectives believe the person who wrote the note has valuable information about the case and would like that person to provide investigators with more information.
