Drugs seized, three arrested in narcotics raid on North Omaha Drive

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - The Corpus Christi Police Department's Narcotics and Vice Investigations Division and SWAT team served a search warrant just before 6 a.m. Friday at a home in the 900 block of North Omaha Drive. It was the end result of a month-long investigation into drug dealing from that residence.
 
The warrant resulted in the seizure of 2.38 grams of crystal methamphetamine, .51 grams of crack, scales and baggies for weighing and packaging drugs, drug paraphernalia, a homemade "zip gun" made to fire .20 gauge shotgun shells, color copied U.S. currency, multiple cell phones and a large flat screen television believed to have been stolen recently.
 
Three people were arrested -- 36-year-old Mario Salazar, 29-year-old Armando Deanda and 28-year-old Noe Jimenez. All were charged with second-degree felony manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. Charges related to the printed currency and felon in possession of a firearm charges related to the zip gun are pending further investigation.
