ROCKPORT (KIII NEWS) - The Aransas County Independent School District launched an investigation Wednesday into a student who got very sick in the Commons area of Rockport-Fulton High School, according to a social media post by Rockport-Fulton Principal Scott Rogers.

ACISD police said one person has been arrested as a result of their investigation. According to the principal, two additional students had become sick over the weekend. The three incidents were reportedly associated with a drug called "fake bars," a variant of Xanax containing additives that can make a person "sick, deranged, violent and in need of hospitalization and/or restraint."

The principal asks that parents speak with their students about the threat of this dangerous drug.
