Man suspected of stealing 14-year-old's unattended bike

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Corpus Christi police have released surveillance images of a man who they stay stole an unattended bike belonging to a 14-year-old boy the evening of Sept. 24.

It happened at a shopping center in the 6100 block of Saratoga Boulevard.

According to police, the boy reported his gold and black BMX bike stolen around 5 p.m. that Saturday. He said he had rode the bike to the store with friends and they left their bikes at the bike rack when they went inside. The bike was gone when he and his friends came out of the store.

Officers checked the store's surveillance footage and found an image of the man they believe stole the bike. If you recognize him, call police at 361-886-2600.
