One arrested, drugs seized during raid at apartment on Caravelle Parkway

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - The Corpus Christi Police Department's Narcotics and Vice Investigations Division served a search warrant at around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment in the 3800 block of Caravelle Parkway as part of an ongoing investigation into drug dealing from that location.
 
Officers seized 39.9 grams of powdered cocaine, 12.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine and two grams of marijuana, along with scales, spoons, razor blades and packaging materials. The estimated street value of the drugs was $2,350.
 

 
Also seized while serving the search warrant was $654 in U.S. currency, a Ruger semiautomatic .380 handgun and a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado.
 
48-year-old Ernesto Ochoa was arrested and charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
