Police Looking for Driver Who Crashed Into Two Southside Businesses

Corpus Christi detectives are looking for a man who drove through two buildings on the southside of town at around 2:15 a.m. Friday.

A witness made the call to 911 after seeing the driver plow into the Family Dollar on Weber, near Holly.

"They first used the truck and rammed the doors of the t-shirt gallery, circled and came back, rammed the doors of the Family Dollar causing, as you can see, a pretty good amount of damage," said Officer Billy Gaines of the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Both buildings suffered major damage.

Investigators are looking for a man driving a black lifted Chevy or Dodge truck with rims. If you have any information that could help police, please call Crime Stoppers at 361-888-8477.
