Police Release Footage of Wanted Hit and Run Suspect

Corpus Christi police have released surveillance footage of the May 11 hit and run on the corner Harmon and Mary streets, which resulted in injuries to a 56-year old pedestrian. They are hoping the public will call them with any information about this crime.

Warning: the footage may not be suitable for all audiences.

It was just after 7 p.m. when surveillance cameras captured footage of a black truck traveling west on Mary Street and running a four-way stop sign. The truck stopped and began to reverse, striking the woman. It then drove forward, striking the woman again and dragging her several feet.

The suspect is described as a male between the ages of 30-40. He wore a tan straw cowboy hat.

The suspect vehicle was a full-size black Chevrolet truck with chrome on the wheel wells, step sides and distinct flaring fenders. The vehicle also had large nerf bars and what appears to be a low-profile tool box. It was last seen traveling south on Harmon Street.
