Two Suspects on the Loose After Robbing Whataburger

Wearing hoodies and masks and armed with guns, two men robbed the Whataburger restaurant in the 3200 block of Gollihar Tuesday morning, and both men are still on the loose.

It was around 3 a.m. when police say the two suspects entered the dining room of the fast food restaurant and rounded up the employees, forcing them to get on the floor. Then, the armed robbers forced two of the employees to open the safe.

The suspects took two deposit bags filled with money from the safe and ran away, thankfully leaving everyone unharmed.

Witnesses described the suspects as black males wearing hoodies, black shorts and had black bandanas covering their faces. They are both believed to be in their 30s, stand about five-foot 10 to six feet tall and have thin builds. One of the suspects was light-skinned and had a tattoo near his left eye.

If you have any information that can help police find the two suspects, please call Crime Stoppers at 361-888-8477.
