The big day is here! Domingo Live's 50th anniversary celebration will be taking place from 10 a.m.-noon Sunday, May 4, at the Richard M. Borchard Fairgrounds in Robstown. Everyone is invited!
The event is being held in conjunction with KSAB's annual Cinco De Mayo Festival, which runs from noon-8 p.m.
Domingo Live is a tradition started by the great Domingo Pena back in 1964, and is the longest running live and locally produced music and informational show. It has engaged, informed and entertained viewers for half a century.
Acts such as Ricky Naranjo y Los Gamblers, Grupo Retoño, Lucky Joe and Mariachi Mexicanisimo will be featured on the special Domingo Live broadcast, as well as many more special guests, including former show hosts Mike Chavez and Joseph Munoz, Mayor Nelda Martinez and other city dignitaries.
Following the special Domingo Live broadcast, the following groups will be performing for KSAB's annual Cinco De Mayo Festival:
