DPS Troopers say Synthetic Marijuana Played Roll in FM 666 Accident

Two people were taken to the hospital following a major accident that happened around 7 a.m. Friday on FM 666, about half a mile north of Highway 44 in Banquete.

According to Department of Public Safety troopers, a Robstown woman was under the influence of synthetic marijuana and pills when she crashed her sedan into three vehicles, including a sport utility vehicle.

The suspect and a victim from the SUV were both taken to Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital. At last report, their condition was unknown.
