There was rollover crash on the Crosstown Expressway around 1:45am Sunday, and police say a drunk driver is to blame.
That suspected drunk had to be cut out of his truck while another man who saw the crash jumped into action to help.
Noe Villarreal was at the right place at the right time this morning, and was the first good samaritan on the scene.
He says he helped pull the front seat passenger, a woman, from the wreckage.
The man driving was stuck though, and had to be cut out using the jaws of life.
The woman suffered minor injuries. The driver suffered serious arm injuries where he was pinned between the vehicle and the roadway.
A third person in the back seat was not hurt.
Villlarreal says he saw the truck speeding, then the truck left the roadway, hit a median, then the sideway, and hit a light pole head on.
The driver of the truck is expected to face charges of DWI.
