DUI Checkpoint At National Seashore

Protecting the community by setting up an impromptu DUI checkpoint.  Park rangers with the National Parks Service were stopping beach goers as they left the Padre Island National Seashore Saturday along Park Road 22. They stopped vehicles for about two hours this evening at the checkpoint which was near the parks entrance. The National Seashore says the purpose of this checkpoint was to detect and arrest drivers who are under the influence, and to keep the National Seashore a safe place for families to enjoy.
