Electrical Odor Detected in Plane Landing at Corpus Christi Airport

A United Express aircraft had a tense landing experience at the Corpus Christi International Airport Wednesday morning after the pilots detected an electrical smell in the cockpit.

The plane landed at the Airport just after 11 a.m. The passengers were deplaned as normal and everyone was okay, but the plane was then moved away from the building as a safety precaution.

Mechanics from United Airlines began working on the plane to figure out where the odor was coming from.
